High Performace Sailing Clinic

Waszps are provided for each clinic  (5.9 & 6.9 size rigs)

• Clinic Descriptions:

Note: Weather and forecast will determine a lot of the schedule – in all cases, we will make every attempt to maximize time on the water

·         Day 1 (Start 10:00am) – class room – foiling basics, theory and how the boat works 1-1.5 hours- sailor evaluation – on-shore demonstrations on how to move across the boat, stability, etc.

o   Boat set up, hands-on – 0.5 hours – lunch/snack

o   Dress for sailing, launch boats – 0.5 hours

o   Sailing 1:00pm – 4pm – 15 minute sessions per sailor – multiple sessions if possible.

·         Day 2 – 10:00am – video review of previous day- review of foiling basics – what worked, what didn’t work.  Skill review and discussion.

o   Boat set up

o   Dress – lunch

o   Launch boats – 1:00pm

o   Sailing 1-4pm

·         Day 3 - 10:00am – video review of previous day- review of foiling basics – what worked, what didn’t work.  Skill review and discussion. Tacking and Jibing introduction.

o   Boat set up

o   Dress – lunch

o   Launch boats – 1:00pm

o   Sailing 1-4pm

·         Day 4 - 10:00am – video review of previous day- review of foiling basics – what worked, what didn’t work.  Skill review and discussion.
