Opti Program - Red, White and Blue (RWB) - Sept24 - Apr25

Team 1: Red, White and Blue (RWB) – for the advanced Opti sailor.

The program fee’s include all coach-related expenses, including training, powerboat rental, fuel expenses, Opti Boat Storage (if required), and training and coaching fees for supported regattas:

RED, WHITE AND BLUE (RWB)

• 10-month Training Program -- 3-4x per week training
• Tuesday & Thursday – 4:30pm – 6:30pm*
• Saturday & Sunday – 10:30am – 3:30pm*
• 9 Supported Regatta Events – request more information!
• 5 Unsupported Regatta Events – request more information!

• Program Fee: $3,150.  First payment is $500.

Details Season 2024 - 2025

Our initial payment due will be $500.00 – this is non-refundable.  The balance can be paid upfront, or broken up into equal payments over 3, 5 or 8 months.  All fees are paid through our registration system, RecHub. Once you make your initial payment, and select your payment plan, RecHub does the rest and automatically bills your card on file on the first of the month (per payment plan).

DATES

• Dates: September 3^rd, 2024 to. April 30^th, 2025.
• Black-out dates: October 21; February 16.
• Parent Orientation: September (Date TBD)

There will be a winter break (Dec 21-Jan 3) and a spring break (March 17-21) with no training.* Regatta and training races are scheduled through the course of the program, but not every weekend. We intentionally build in rest weekends with no training and races.

ATTENDANCE POLICY 

Practices and competitive events (regatta’s) are mandatory. While we understand there can be extenuating circumstances causing a sailor to miss a rare practice or event, this is a competitive/travel sport and sailor absence reduces the quality of the experience and development for the entire program/team. Families unable or unwilling to ensure player attendance at all practices and events should consider lower levels.

COMMUNICATIONS > TEAM SNAP

All RWB schedules will be centrally coordinated through the Team Snap app for smart phones. Sailors will update availability and communicate any questions directly with USSCMC coaching staff.

SCHEDULE
Each team has a completed periodization plan outlining each Regatta and training program for the year.

ADDITIONAL COSTS
Sailing uniforms package is being created for all RaceTeam sailors. This will include jackets, polo’s, bags and jersey’s.  Additional items will be optional and available for parents as well.
